An Impromptu 'St. Elsewhere' Reunion Gathers at Art's Deli

Abby Singer, Ed Begley Jr., Bethany Rooney, R.J. Visceglia, John Tinker, Matt Tinker, Sara Fischer, Ellen Bry and Eric Laneuville gathered at a spur-of-the-moment reunion at the Studio City landmark.
The popular medical TV series was named as the top 20 shows in TV Guide's 50 Greatest TV Shows of All Time. It ran on NBC from Oct. 26, 1982 to May 25, 1988 and was filmed at the Mary Tyler Moore Studios, known now as the The show was about teaching doctors who gave interns a promising future and made critical decisions. The nickname of the hospital as "St. Elsewhere" is a slang used to refer to lesser-equipped hospitals that serve patients not wanted by more prestigious institutions.
