Ed Begley Jr. Speaks at Climate Change Rally

The rally is held at the steps of the Los Angeles City Hall.

As a response to President Obama's call to do something about climate change, Studio City actor and environmentalist Ed Begley Jr. led a rally to the steps of the Los Angeles City Hall.

Called the "Forward on Climate" rally, they called on the president to take some strong action.

The rally represented 90 environmentally-concerned groups including Tar Sands Action Southern California and Sierra Club.

Politicians Rep. Henry Waxman (D-Beverly Hills) and Los Angeles City Council member Jose Huizar also spoke at the rally, and they mentioned the controversial Canadian Keystone pipeline which could hurt vast stretches of wilderness.

Meanwhile, Begley and his wife Rachelle, this week are prepping for going to the Academy Awards ceremony in Hollywood on Sunday. (They promise they will try sending Studio City Patch some photos!)
