Local Author Ahmet Zappa Checks Out his Book in Studio City
He is one of four of musician Frank Zappa's children, and penned a children's book.
Ahmet Zappa checked out to see if the BookStar had his latest book, and yes they did.
So, he held an impromptu signing right there at the store, and put them back on the shelf.
Ahmet is one of four children of Frank Zappa, the musician, and his family, including brother Dweezil and sisters Moon and Diva have all lived in and near Studio City.

And, so now that his children's book is out, he wanted to see it on the shelves (doesn't every writer?)
He co-wrote "Because I'm Your Dad"—a book about monsters—with Dan Santat and it was released on April 2. It's his first book. It is getting good reviews (CLICK HERE).
