It has been more than a dozen years since audiences were first introduced to the Wilkerson’s dysfunctional family drama in one of the hottest TV shows of the last decade, Malcolm in the Middle.

The sitcom captured childhood angst perfectly, often pitting the show’s star, namesake and diagnosed genius Malcolm Wilkerson (Frankie Muniz), against his lesser intellectual siblings: the delinquent eldest brother Francis (Christopher Masterson), cocky older brother Reese (Justin Berfield) and the loveable younger brother Dewey (Erik Per Sullivan).

The parents, Hal and Lois, were played to perfection by Bryan Cranston and Jane Kaczmarek.

For local Malcolm fans, who can’t get enough of the hit show, the Wilkerson’s family home is in the heart of Studio City and is located at 12334 Cantura Street. The home serves as a constant reminder of the show’s impact on the television landscape.

Tile #194 on the Studio City Walk of Fame.

From historian Marc Wanamaker's upcoming book:

The series centers around Malcolm (Muniz) a gifted teen, the middle son in a bizarre dysfunctional family.  Malcolm's life coping with the stigma of being a "boy genius" make for sticky situations with his classmates and his family's chaotic home life present challenges for everybody involved.
