Mikhail Tank Bares his 'Darksoul'

Darksoul was released and Tank had an advertisement on Times Square—all part of a dream since he he was a child.

It's been a dream of his since he was 13—and now two decades later, Studio City performer Mikhail Tank releases "Darksoul Theatre" on CD.

Surrounded by friends, mentors, teachers, colleagues and fans, Tank held a launch party Thursday night at Lucy's 51 in Toluca Lake and offered a lottery of prizes to those in attendance.

He explained, "My cousin, in Russia, always asks me, 'When are you going to have a baby?' and well, this is my baby. . . . It has been an inspiration for me when I was 13 years old."

Tank's other important works include My Pretty Pony which he directed under the Dollar Baby Agreement with author Stephen King, and a documentary about the late and legendary Rabbi Meier Schimmel that premiered on JLTV.

The 25-track album, 10 years in the making, Darksoul Theatre, and the Transylvanian audio book are available exclusively through and www.DarksoulTheatre.com
