Confronting your fears in incremental steps will prevent you from becoming overwhelmed. If you're apprehensive being alone, try spending short moments in your own company, gradually increasing the stretches as you gain comfort.

When you’re at ease enjoying your companionship, others will jump on the band wagon. You’ll end up attracting friends and lovers who fancy hanging out with you.

By adjusting your perspective, coping with anxieties can be a stimulating. The journey involves locating the light within you, past the dark side, where you may previously have perceived monsters lurking. You’ll experience true joy and bliss.

All the brightness, serenity, and understanding you yearn for lies on the other side of the tunnel. There your essence glows and shines beyond your wildest imagination.

Begin by forgiving yourself for treating yourself badly. Then forgive others for their behavior. You both did the best you could with the information and knowledge you had, considering your history/herstory.

You deserve to live the rest of your existence in ecstasy rejoicing in your positive attributes, accepting your limitations for their uniqueness. There’s only one of you in the entire universe making you a special, valuable, and worthy individual.

Seek support during this ‘demon demolition period’ through a trusted friend, family member, spiritual advisor, religious counselor, competent therapist. Useful tools include journaling, meditating, progressive relaxation, creative visualization, any practice that focuses, calms, energizes, and invigorates.

Are you afraid of rejection? Don’t let that stop you from pursuing a “keeper,” even if you feel shunned. The biggest faux pas is giving up on a prospective mate because you abhor being turned down. Offer your soft vulnerable side and the object of your desire will fall head over heels.

It’s okay to act as the brave, gallant, white knight who sweeps her off her feet. Women are desperate for old fashioned heroes to swoon over.

Both sexes yearn for someone they can count on to stay committed through thick and thin, who won’t run to the hills when the going gets tough.

In Scotland, fortune tellers suggested naming a hazelnut for each possible love connection and then tossing them into the fireplace. The nut burning the longest represented your forthcoming spouse. 

Others stood in front of mirrors in darkened rooms, holding candles and looking over their shoulders for the apparition of their potential partner.

At some Halloween parties, the first successful apple bobber was deemed the first to be married. Currently, believers may resort to palm/tea leaf readings or Astrological/Tarot card soothsayers.
