Very well put. I enjoy reading your posts. I eagerly look forward to your next one. I’veRead More always found my favorite song writers to be those who seem to have taken the words out of my mouth (or the words I wish I could have come from my mouth), and you have done that with your keyboard and this forum. The points you make are not gender specific…they are just all part of the tango we do, which takes two.

Ah, so much of this rings true for me, and I'm sure it does for many late-20-something females whoRead More are constantly bombarded with engagement/wedding/baby/happily-ever-after notices. I've dealt with these same feelings in my life, too. You've got it right, though: never, ever settle. And, when you're feeling discouraged, just think about that Michael Buble song: "I just haven't met you yet ..." :-)

wow, this was amazing. I couldn't stop reading! Even though I am ON that road of really findingRead More myself, I want to be that woman that doesn't rely on any other person. I am looking forward to reading more entries!

Marcile you have a way with words! Many of what you said rings true to me too, especially havingRead More been married, and now newly single and turning 30 this year. You learn and grow as an individual with every experience. Life is about the journey, unlike other goals where you want to reach the end, most don't look forward to the end of life. Sit back and enjoy the ride, and if you find someone fun to sit next to on the roller coaster, then all the better. :)

Very supportive article, and certainly an important issue that effects everyone! Who hasn'tRead More experienced the Monday Morning Blues? An added perspective to it is that those Monday Morning Blues is often a function of the previous week-end and what was experienced rather than the fact that 'Monday' is here. To make that more specific, I've often found that when I had a great 'date' on Saturday night and planned on something fun for the following week-end, all of a sudden there were no Monday Morning Blues. In short, Mondays are lousy because of what did or didn't happen on the week-end and not because of what will or won't happen on Monday, or Tuesday, or......., or..........! Anyway, just a thought. :-)
