Gas prices are actually cheap, in the us they are pretty much the cheaper in the world, 2nd gasRead More price should include of the some / most cost of wars that were initiated mostly cause oil interests. 3rd oil is polluting, and the price does not carry the cost we are paying and will pay for generations. when all this will be included, as it should in a "free market" markets. Renewable energies are already, and would be even more cheep, and cheaper than what i they are. This gas taxes, goes to pay for roads, roads safety, other transportation, etc. taxes are very positive, as they pay for so much we are all use, but many like just to b...h about it, cause, who knows. and if the argument of government inefficiency, lets work on that. but this inefficiency they claim, they only see them in areas they like to see them, and complain about them, in other areas, they love to increase the budget, have extra pork when it works for their districts etc, etc. In conclusion, Oil is toooo cheap, that's a fact. but who cares about facts, when u need to make your case, in Israel, Europe, mexico, gas cost about double or more, and car as well, as they have taxes as well. building roads, fix bridges, handle accidents and injuries, etc etc, is very expensive, but anyway lets cuts taxes, and then complain how bad are the roads. one of the worst in the developed world, again a fact.

I see your point, I got it. I was referring to the overall gas environment price relation. And IRead More still insist that gas prices are artificially low and subsedized, and more taxes should be charge, if the law says these taxes should go for transportation, the money should go for that purpose, or the law should be change. Higher gas prices that will reflect the real cost of every gallon which makes it to consumption will make all other clean energy alternative much more affordable, which they are, if gas priced correctly. Thanks Libi
