Wendei I can only hope that you ran this piece by your daughter since it is about her and deeplyRead More revealing and personal. Did the letters "TMI" ever occur to you as your wrote this? Perhaps not. While I think I understand your motives, it comes across as narcissistic, self- congratulatory and exploitive of your daughter, who is obviously in a great deal of pain.

I'm sorry that my blog made you feel uncomfortable and I apologize if anyone else felt that way...itRead More certainly was not my intent. I'm intrigued by your obviously very affected response to my blog post. In response to your hope that I ran it by my daughter, not only did she read it, she encouraged me to write about her experience as she hopes to help others through her experience. While you might think that the subject of my daughter's bullying and her way of dealing with it is TMI, there are others that might just be grateful that someone is willing to speak the truth in the hopes that maybe someone will read it and realize that there are other healthier ways of dealing with pain. My hope was that some parent might read this and open up a conversation with their own teenager. My daughter's choice (not mine) to tell her own story herself to her own friends and others that she has met since was made with the hope that another teenager will learn that they aren't alone and to seek help. My opinion is that too many people don't speak the truth, rather they hide the "dirty little secrets" that may happen in their family so that they appear to be normal and healthy and all together to those around them. Maybe if more people were to speak about the not so pretty episodes in life, we can create a a community where teenagers aren't afraid to speak to their parents or teachers before it gets to that horribly painful place where my daughter was.

Wendei, It took a great deal of strength to talk about what your daughter has gone through. I haveRead More personally met Wendei's daughter. She is an amazing girl. I know that everyone at some age has been bullied and not known how to deal with the situation. It is so great that you have an open communication with your daughter and that she is able to look back at her mistakes and want to help others through your blog. I feel the more information and personal experiences that we put out in the world may help another in a similar situation. We have so many children and young adults commiting suicide due to being bullied. If your blog helps just one person, (TMI previous comment) I say keep it up!!!! I am happy to see that your daughter has overcome this unfortunate situation and has become a better person because of it. You are an amazing mother! Keep it up!!!

I found Peace of Mind Skin & Body on a whim looking for just a facial in Studio City. I had theRead More most relaxing facial and I learned so much about my skin that I did not know and thought I would never know. I honestly thought I would have to pay hundreds of dollars to find a doctor who could help me with my acne without any harmful drugs or drying my skin out. As I walked out of my first appointment with Wendei I thought wow, I only signed up for a facial now I have an esthetician. I bought their brand of Glycolic Acid wash for my type of skin and within a month my acne cleared up and since then my skin is super smooth and bright with just this wash. I look forward to keeping my skin young and healthy with Wendei's products and services. Thank You!
