Studio City Neighbor April 20, 2014 at 10:35 PM
The problem is unleashed dogs in general. I feel and more threatened by menacing dogs and theirRead Morebul lying owners. Today I had to ask two people to call their dogs off me as I walked in Studio City along the river. A small dog was recently killed in North Hollywood park by an unleashed dog. Action has to be taken to enforce the leash laws.

Actually its not just unleashed dogs, its about unleashed dogs that can MAME and KILL......If aRead Morebree d has the ability to KILL or MAME a human being then the owners must prove they have liability insurance before a city license is issued for the dog....not having one should be grounds for arrest and immediate fine and removal of the dog...not hard huh?

Nothing can make up for this awful attack, but SUE SUE SUE in every court you can, picket herRead Morehouse, publish her name and address, contact city council, police chief, animal control, anything you can thing of. Her punishment should be to be mauled by a pit bull for everyone to watch. This makes me sick. I don't take my dog for walks anymore, too many crazy stupid, careless dog owners. I am so sorry.

Yes they should have -- lots of residents around on weekend days, many with little kids. With aRead Morelit tle warning and communication we can arrange to be gone for the day -- there should be a better way for DWP (or any City service) to notify nearby, affected neighbors!

Not sure exactly what you’re talking about, but glad to try and help you with this issue ifRead Moreyo u’d like me to. My personal experience with LAPD on this topic is that they’ve been very responsive when people are negatively impacted within residential neighborhoods by unreasonable noise. Have you spoken to your Senior Lead Officer about this? Do you know who that is for your area? Please let me know if you’d like to discuss – I can be reached directly via email at jeansinatra@earthlink.net

They also need to clear out The Park Motel of prostitution, drug use, drug DEALS and other illegalRead Morea ctivities that have been going on there for YEARS.

Jean, LAPD has not been responsive. The LAPD Noise enforcement team has refused to cite or evenRead Moregi ve a decibel reading. And, government officials have refused to address the problem and just look the other way. http://highlandpark-ca.patch.com/groups/susan-rs-blog/p/bp--patch-blog-i-am-a-noise-victim
