What's Up: Ribbon Cutting, Singles Mixer, Light Rain

Here are five things to know in Studio City today.

1. The region is experiencing light rain or drizzle by late Tuesday evening, largely as a result of a deepening marine layer, with more widespread light showers beginning Wednesday morning. Did you receive any rainfall?

2. There's an "over 45" singles mixer tonight at Raphael Restaurant. Click here for more information.

3. The European Wax Center at 12930 Ventura Blvd. holds its grand opening today at 5 p.m. Click here for more information.

4. Heading out the door? Check our live traffic map in case you plan to go far but want to avoid any congestion nightmares.

5. Wednesday is Walk to School Day throughout Los Angeles. The Los Angeles Department of Transportation is providing planning and logistical support to the Los Angeles Unified School District for Walk to School Day events as part of its efforts to encourage and teach students "to walk and bike with care."
