Ain't Technology Grand!

When I first went to Africa in 2000, I brought 50 rolls of 35mm film in a lead lined pouch and got to check my email 2 times during the 2 week period.

Those were the only times when I was close to an internet café. It was the only way to get on the Internet.

In 2005 when I climbed Mt. Kilamanjaro I called my kids from the top of the mountain with a satellite phone.

And in 2008 when I took my kids to Africa I was able to use my cell phone in some of the places we traveled.
And now today not only is there cell service but you can also text and post on Facebook!

As you read this, Infinite Safari Adventures currently has 2 groups on safari. They have been posting their experiences on Facebook and have shown some amazing videos and photographs. If you want to read them become my friend on Facebook as I am sharing them with everyone!
