The staff of Baxter Bioscience volunteered with the Village Gardeners of the Los Angeles River in a 2 day clean up event in July. Thanks to the many volunteers who met at the Richard Lillard Outdoor Classroom, along the banks of the LA River! They pruned, cleared brush, picked up litter, and cleared the gutters and catch basins along Valleyheart Drive's north and south sides of the Los Angeles River Greenway. Rick Rabins, President of the Village Gardeners, really appreciates Baxter Bioscience for their repeated generosity, by giving staff paid time off to help the environment and our community! For more info go to www.TheVillageGardeners.org.
