Access to Coldwater Canyon Blvd. Restricted Saturday

Crews will be paving.

Access to a stretch of Coldwater Canyon Boulevard in Studio City will be limited on Saturday as crews do paving work, the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power announced today.

The work is scheduled to take place from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. between Ventura Boulevard and Hacienda Drive, according to the DWP.

One lane will be open in each direction while the paving takes place, the DWP announced.

Parking will not be allowed along that part of Coldwater Canyon Boulevard and violators will be ticketed and towed, according to the DWP.

"This work is part of the City Trunk Line South-Unit 5 project, which will replace an aging water trunk line built in 1914," according to a DWP statement. "This new trunk line will improve the reliability and flexibility of the water system."
