Adopt An Angel - Salvation Army

Low income parents register their children with our Salvation Army Social Service Christmas assistance program.  These Children, age 12 and under are then put in our Angel Tree Program.  Their "Angel" card (a die cut Angel that we list their information on) is placed on a Christmas tree, or in a bulletin board on the wall, at locations such as stores, schools, churches, corporations, that can serve as candidates for sponsors.

Sponsors will offer a place where people would be able to then take an Angel and purchase one gift for the child based on the information given on the "Angel" card.  For potential corporate sponsors, if needed the gifts are collected at places or offices determined by the donor and then delivered to The Salvation Army, at the  San Fernando Valley Corps. Recommended to bring gifts before Dec. 14, 2010.
