Sign-ups Begin for North Hollywood Relay for Life

Registration for the annual Relay for Life fundraiser, taking place on May 31, at Walter Reed Middle School is underway.

The weekend-long event benefiting the American Cancer Society may be months away, but signing up requires getting a group of people together.

Teams of ten or more people create a relay by taking turns walking, running, or strolling around a track for 24 consecutive hours. Participants will camp out with family and friends, enjoying the music, entertainment, food and friendship while building team spirit to help in the fight against cancer.

It is a 24‐hour event, which symbolizes the difficulty that cancer patients face in just one 24‐hour period.
