The opening of Horror Night at Universal Studios Hollywood coincided with rocker Alice Cooper and others winning the Eyegore Awards on Friday night.

Cooper posed with a mannequin at Universal Studios Hollywood's annual Halloween Horror Nights attraction in Universal City.

In years past, Jason, Freddy and Leatherface terrorized visitors on the Universal Studios backlot. The designers of this year's Halloween Horror Nights have enlisted icons like Cooper, who has famously freaked out stage audiences with his band's horror-inspired theatrics for more than 40 years.

Rocker and director Rob Zombie presented Rainn Wilson (The Office) with his 2011 Eyegore Award, and others in attendance included Bailee Madison, Sid Haig, Luz Rios, Adam Green, Calico Cooper and many others.
