PHOTOS: Chilly Weather Gives NoHo Cool 'Blade Runner' Look

Overnight rain and temperatures in the 40's make for surreal photos in the early morning hours.

Fog settled in around North Hollywood overnight, a product of the cooling temperatures, which dipped into the low 40s. Rain had soaked the area just hours before, creating a clean setting for beautiful, yet eery urban landscapes.

Although the night air was quite chilly, the foggy atmosphere and the diverse light sources created such rare, ethereal scenes that any attentive photographer would not pass up these views.

These are quiet moments of night-time beauty, where light and shadow are nicely balanced due to the diffusing qualities of the foggy atmosphere. Light on a normal night will not make photos that look like these.

These surreal environments, at times, resembled those visions of a foggy, futuristic Los Angeles, like in scenes from Ridley Scott's monumental sci-fi film, Blade Runner.
