A Step Beyond The Rain, a one-woman show written and performed by actress Miata Edoga, is the true story of a mother and her two daughters struggling under the weight of physical and mental illness. Encompassing themes of love, loyalty, loss and liberation, A Step Beyond The Rain explores the relationship between these three very different women, and their individual journeys toward freedom. It is at times humorous and at times heart-wrenching, but throughout it is an honest and compassionate story.
