Join in the Fight Against Cancer this Spring!
The Relay For Life of Studio City‐North Hollywood will be held on May 19‐20, 2012 at Walter Reed Junior High School.
During Relay, groups of friends, families, co-workers take turns walking, running, or strolling around a school track for 24 consecutive hours while organizing carnival games, raffles, performances, and other fun activities. Cancer never sleeps, and for one 24 hour period, Relay participants stand in solidarity with cancer patients everywhere in the battle against this disease. Survivors are celebrated at the opening ceremony's 'survivor lap'. In the evening, lights go out for the Luminaria (candle lighting) ceremony to honor those who have won the battle and remember those who didn’t.
Start your own team, or just come for an hour to cheer on the walkers and participate in all the days's activities. 100% of all funds raised during Relay for Life benefit the American Cancer Society's cancer treatment, prevention, and awareness programs.
If you are a cancer survivor, we encourage you to register to walk our survivor lap and attend the survivor reception.
