The MobilityWorks Foundation is hosting a fundraiser, A Salute to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV), on Saturday, August 4th at 6 p.m. The dinner and auction will raise awareness and funds to help our nation's disabled veterans. The Foundation will use funds raised to make the world more accessible for disabled veterans by providing financial assistance with adaptive mobility equipment for veterans in wheelchairs. THE DAV will use funds to support the many programs and services they provide veterans.
Unfortunately, there are six million veterans with mobility challenges, an 25 percent increase since 2001.
Please join us on August 4 and support these courageous heros who risked their lives to defend our country.
