Bobby Brown was arrested on Ventura Boulevard in Studio City after a night of karaoke and was booked on driving under the influence, Los Angeles Police said. He was reportedly coming out of the Maui Sugar Mill Saloon in Tarzana where he was singing karaoke at the top of his voice.
He was admitted into rehab earlier in the year after having the same problem in about the same area. Mr. Studio City was told that Brown was seen for years at a well-known Studio City karaoke scene—and he is good. (The club manager didn't want to confirm it, so I don't want to say where) . . .
I have it on impeccable authority that Lady Gaga loves dining at Xen Lounge. Don't know if she likes the Pumpkin Lasagna, but the Mac & Cheese Cupcakes are to die for! Seen at the club since it opened last month are Will Smith and other friends of owner/actor Duane Martin, who is married to Tisha Campbell. Another frequent visitor is local resident Nick Cannon, who had his 32nd birthday party there on Oct. 8 . . .
So, then why would Nick Cannon go to Fatburger a block or so away from Xen? Not once, but twice this past week he was seen at the fast-food place and he loves it so much he put it on his fan page (see the photo above in the Gallery.) . . .
Has the Glee cast moved to town? We've seen Chris Cofler around a lot and Jane Lynch adopted a puppy here, but this past week we've seen a few more cast members. This week, Matthew Morrison (Will Schuester the Glee teacher) was seen by a Patch-watcher at Panda Express down on Cahuenga, and Lea Michele went to Bellacures Nail Salon in Studio City. According to rumors, she looked like she may be pregnant, and she was trying to hide it behind her Givenchy Detail Medium purse. . . .
