For 26-year-old San Fernando Valley-based artist Timothy Garrett, the pin-ups of the '50s is a passion project. This past weekend at Cella gallery in North Hollywood, he launched the display for the public, and it will be around for the next few weeks.
The hair, make-up, and model coaching was done by Lauren Michelle, and the photography was done by Heather Landis for the pin-up models that are now compiled in a calendar. And, Samir Evol of The Seventh Letter also added his large artwork done solely with spray paint. The event was sponsored by Vallure Vodka.
Check out the clips of Garrett explaining his work, and his own YouTube clip. If you have additional photographs, please add them!
