See Your Neighbors at the Emmys—A Few of Them Are Winners

Some of the Studio City residents look fabulous at the Emmy Awards.

Cat Deeley, Zooey Deschanel, Julie Bowen, Nicole Kidman and many other Studio City residents are at the Emmys.

They look marvelous. We'll bring you more pictures.

Colfax Meadows resident, actor Jon Cryer was shocked as he won Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series award for Two and a Half Men  which Studio City Mom writer Susan McMartin writes for as well.

— "Amazing Race" filmed at CBS Radford Studios won Best Reality-Competition

— Supporting Actress, Comedy Series: Julie Bowen, “Modern Family,” ABC.

— Actor, Comedy Series: Jon Cryer, “Two and a Half Men,” CBS.

It was nice to see former residents like Michael J. Fox, Rita Wilson and others on the red carpet.

Backstage, according to The Hollywood Reporter, Bowen talked about her second consecutive win in the category. She said she would put this one high up where her son can't reach it—he broke her first one in their Studio City house. Also, she said she was sad that co-star Sofia Vergara hasn't won.

"She doesn't get the credit she deserves as an actress," Bowen said. "She is talented and amazing, and there are only a few of us that realize that she just doesn't play herself. .... She deserves one of these [Emmys] too."

Cryer talked about fellow Studio City resident Miley Cyrus coming on the show.

"They gave her pagelong monologues, and all week she was on book with them. … Then we did in front of audience and Miley brought it. … Then I remembered she was hatched in Disney labs in Burbank and grown for just this sitcom situation."

Cryer was nominated seven times  and won once in the supporting category, and this was the first time he was submitted in the category, after years of Charlie Sheen dominating the category.

"I'm as shocked as you people, that's all I'm going to say," Cryer told reporters backstage Sunday before the questions even began. "That's why my speech sucked!"
