"It's a fun time, this award tonight is truly the elegant version all the others, it's very different," Clooney told KTLA Channel 5 on the red carpet.
, Clooney's girlfriend who lives with him in Studio City, said, "George is so calm." She said she was nervous when getting out of limo at the Hollywood/Highland complex.
Clooney said, "I'm 50 if I get nervous I'd have a heart attack."
He added, "It's saecond nomination as writer and because it's two and that's an elite club to be in, it's cool." He said he writes on a legal memo pad, and is writing a story about 50-year-old soldiers sent to get art that was hoarded by Hilter during WWII. He is casting himself, he said.
