It's been a very good year for Studio City resident and jazz vocalist Denise Donatelli who is nominated for her second Grammy Award in three years.
She is nominated for her latest "Soul Shadows" in the category Best Jazz Vocal Album and also the recent recipient of of the L.A. Jazz Society Best Jazz Vocalist Award.
Donatelli recently returned from New York, where she co-starred with another Studio City resident, five time Juno Award Nominee (the Canadian Grammy) jazz pianist/vocalist Carol Welsman and television legend, five-time Emmy award winner Peter Marshall in the show "And Then She Wrote" at the Metropolitan Room.
The run marked Marshall's (who resides in Encino) first major engagement performing in New York in 60 years.
