The Beauty of Nature Through the Eyes of Mary McGrath

As a photographer, I find inspiration in all aspects of nature.

For those of you who know me, it is safe to say that I was born the wrong species. Maybe I should have been a dog, cat, ficus or hippo, but I'm not, so the next best thing is taking photos of the things I love.

I love the beauty that can be found in nature, and find inspiration all the time in the simplicity of everyday objects.

Mary, Beautiful work! We pass these things daily, but it is the artists among us that focus and remind us what beauty there is in the "ordinary," that really isn't ordinary.

Oh, thanks for your feedback Michael. I'll always remember how gifted you were as a musician, and I hope you now have the time and inclination to pursue your artistic interests as well. Thanks for stopping by!

Mary - Just heard that your "Looking Back" column may be dropped, and that would be a real shame. I thoroughly enjoy reading your stories about the way things were, and share many of the same memories of childhood. You have a real talent for letting us see things as they were - a great gift! Hopefully, you will be able to keep your column going so we may continue to enjoy it.

Thanks so much for your post Jacki! I hope to continue the column as well. It's a real thrill to roll back the clock, and you always have such great insights on the details. See you soon...
