The 80-year-old longtime Studio City local last played Broadway, as The New York Times puts it, "during the run of the original 'The Sound of Music' and 'How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying' were still playing nearby and a Star Trek was not much more than a gleam in the eye of President John F. Kennedy."
Director Scott Faris is directing "Shatner's World: We Just Live in it" and the show will run from Feb. 14 to March 4 at the Music Box Theater on Broadway and then going on a national tour, which no doubt will include Los Angeles.
