Here is an idea. Let’s buy Christmas, Hanukkah, (or whatever you celebrate) presents from small local businesses and self-employed people.
For example, from your neighbor who sells online, a local craftsperson who makes jewelry or pottery, the stunning local florists shop, the local bakers that make homemade cakes, bread and chocolates. Go to small family owned cafés or a salon. And, of course attend your local farmers market.
Let’s make sure our money goes to individual people and not multinational companies. This way, more local people will have a better holiday season. Support your community and support your neighbors!
