Sorry, but this industry is not good for our community anyway. I, for one, am glad.

Wow @wifeandmamma, that's such a purely emotional, "I'm against it So no one should have access to it", philosophy. How is it exactly that the industry hurts the community? - Driving the film companies out of CA won't stop Adult movies - it just stops their money from circulating through our state. The porn industry employs over 12,000 people in CA. In CA alone the porn industry pays over $36 million in taxes every year. The employees need a place to live, a car, clothes, food etc..That money spent at various local businesses adds to our state's tax revenue. -Rigorous industry STD testing standards have been in place for years — actors are not allowed on a set unless they've received a clean bill of health within 30 days, and many test every two weeks. Production shuts down if any actor tests positive and doesn't resume until all involved actors test clean. -Alot of support for this measure seems to be from those who aren't interested in the health issue; just wholly against Porn and will do anything to diminish it's presence and restrict it's accessibility. It's just sex and those engaging have been tested more than the avg person. I fail to see how the industry affects you or the community. The community must be embracing it for it to be so profitable. The only thing bad for the community is infringing on free Adults' ability to do as they will.
