There were green cleaners, low-energy lights and environmentally safe wood panels.
The Sustainable Networking Event was held last week at the CBS Studio Center on Stage 9 for businesses and Studio City Chamber of Commerce members to mingle with the businesses that do everything as green as possible.
There was Heal the Bay, the Studio City Residents Associations Beautification Committee, plasma lighting, Swevepoint, Earthwatch Institute, HopeLine, RideSpring, Shred-It and more. A few environmental groups also had booths to show some of their projects and work, such as the L.A. River Natural Park project for the Weddington Golf Course area by Save L.A. River Open Space, and the Forest Stewardship Council and many more.
The conference also raffled off two tickets to Alaska Airlines and service by Diva Limo, as well as rooftop exclusive access to the fireworks shot off at the CBS lot on Independence Day.
