Free Ice Cream & Fire Trucks in Studio City at Fire Station 78 in Studio City in Support of the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America on August 19
Studio City: Nothing screams summer like ice cream, fire trucks, and the smile on children’s faces when offered both! The cooling taste of enjoying free ice cream in the shadow of LA’s newest fire station will be a memory shared for a long time, and it will feel even better knowing it’s all for a great cause.
On Sunday, August 19th from 2pm to 5pm, Fire Station 78 at 4041 Whitsett Avenue in Studio City will open its doors to the community in a special, free event in support of the the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation. The entire community is invited to attend and enjoy a sweet summer treat and make a donation to support this important organization working to provide support and find a cure to these
intestinal diseases.
This is event is being produced by Raquel Rebbe, the daughter of a retired LA Fire Captain, who is committed to raising an initial $3000 for this worthy cause. As a local elementary school teacher, she has seen the impact of these diseases and is working to be a role model to students at her school that there is something that can be done.
To RSVP to the event (recommended but not required) and for more information, email laicecreamparty@gmail.com.
