WHY The election hangs on a small percentage of swing voters  in only a couple swing states. California is solid for Obama,  but instead of putting our feet up we're hosting an  enormous neighborhood bake sale and contributing the proceeds directly to 'get out the vote' campaigns in swing  states. If you want to do more than complain about what  Romney & Ryan intend to do -- to healthcare & social security, to women's rights & gay rights, to climate change  & the environment, to military spending & fossil fuel subsidies, to the 99% -- then it is imperative you help get  out the vote in swing states.
HOWA massive neighborhood bake sale, including a kid-run  lemonade stand, with all proceeds going directly to key  swing state campaigns. We're reaching out to the local  media, we have official voter registration, lots of Obama swag, and we expect a huge turnout. Come be a part of  grassroots history: our epic 40-family bake off in 2008 raised over $7,500 and was one of the most fun and  inspiring days in our community.
