would like to thank the community for their donations for the military. Also, there's some cleaning advice below.
First, a message from Flairs:
We'd like to thank those residents and businesses throughout Southern California who participated in our annual FlairCare Packages drive, which netted more than 2800 items for our military. The much-needed donated supplies will be sent to soldiers by the USO - Greater Los Angeles Area to bring them a "touch-of-home," regardless of where they are deployed, and will help support more than 60,000 military and their families served locally by the USO. Barbara Musella, center manager of the USO - Greater Los Angeles Area, commented: "The leadership of businesses like Flair Cleaners in rallying our communities' generosity is vital in helping provide the USO's famous touch of home."
As a reminder, Flair Cleaners recognizes patriots year-round with military discounts and complimentary flag cleaning.
FLAIR'S CLEANING TIP:
Removing stains can sometimes seem like a complex problem, from figuring out the type of stain and its origin to knowing the fabric. But take heart, a few simple tips can take the guesswork out of stain removal.
First, act quickly! If the stain is on a garment where dry cleaning is recommended, take it to your local Flair Cleaners ASAP. Point out the stain and describe its origin, if possible. Don’t assume water is a best first step! Water can set stains, especially those from any kind of oil (even cooking oil) or grease.
Treat once! Once a treatment is applied, drying the fabric can cause the stain to set, so be sure you use the right stain removal treatment for the fabric and type of stain. If you aren’t sure, consult with Flair Cleaners before trying a homebased remedy.
Test it out! Before applying a home remedy, test it on a hidden spot on the garment to ensure the treatment will not damage the fabric or cause the color to bleed.
