Gas Prices Continue to Fall

Cheapest local gas is $3.77.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County fell two-tenths of a cent today to $3.867 after being unchanged each of the previous two days.

The average price is one-tenth of a cent more than one week ago, 5.1 cents higher than a month ago and 75.5 cents greater than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The Orange County average price was unchanged for the third consecutive day, remaining at $3.843, the same as a week ago, but 6.6 cents more than a month ago and 73.9 cents higher than one year ago.
