Gas prices have fallen five days in a row in the Los Angeles County area.
In the state overall, prices barely went up for an average price of $3.80 in the state. In Studio City prices range from $3.89 to $4.21.
The gas prices dropped half a cent to $3.95. The average price is 1.2 cents less than one week ago but 24 cents more than one month ago and 98.1 cents higher than at this time last year, according
The average price for the year in Los Angeles County is $3.84, matching the average from Jan. 1-Sept. 15, 2008, when the average rose to a record high, said Jeffrey Spring of the Automobile Club of Southern California.

In California, Yuba City and Vacaville are the cheapest in the state, at about $3.65 a gallon while Lee Vining and Lakewood have prices at almost $5 a gallon.
The average price around the country this week is $3.97 a gallon, down about 1 cent from last week. Prices are still about 94 cents more than it was a year ago, nationally.
