How Impressive! National Artist Visits Libertyville Boutique

Full house greets Nora Fleming at LIbertyville stationery and gift store.

Nora Fleming, designer of the distinctive interchangeable platters and serving pieces made her appearance at How Impressive!,  a personalized stationery and gift store in downtown Libertyville.   With a collection of over 100 toppers she was here in a local boutique, debuting her newest piece, the bread platter.  Each customer who purchased, received it autographed and a free topper.

This had to be a closed event, said Kristine Knutson, owner of How Impressive!  “We had over 42  RSVP’s a week before the event and several pre-orders.  Although this event was at capacity, we are hoping western suburb artist, Nora Fleming, will come back and make her appearance again soon.”  With over 50 in attendance, it was an extremely successful event!

Along with Knutson, Nora Fleming donated a few autographed platters to local charities. “ We get hit up quite regularly for donations for specific charitable events.  If it can be autographed to make the piece more valuable for the charity, I’m all for that," says Knutson.

How Impressive! is a personalized stationery and gift shop located at 326 N. Milwaukee Ave. in downtown Libertyville. See the How Impressive! website for unique gift ideas.

Celebrating its six-year anniversary in the community, charity and giving back is a big part of the business.  “ I love making a difference locally..it’s just great all the way around, says Knutson.

Nora Fleming is nationally renowned throughout the country and has been featured in the Neiman Marcus Catalog.
