Hugo's Shares its Rosh Hashanah Cocktail Recipe
Hugo's fans have dubbed its Apple Pie Martini as the "Rosh Hashanah Cocktail."
With Rosh Hashanah starting at sundown on Sunday night, is sharing the recipe for its famous “Rosh Hashanah Cocktail.”
That’s the name fans on Hugo’s Facebook page have given to Hugo’s Apple Pie Martini.
Hugo’s reports that the Apple Pie Martini celebrates both National Apple Pie Month and National Honey Month as well as the Jewish New Year.

Hugo’s Apple Pie Martini recipe (available in Agoura & WeHo)
2 oz Skyy vodka

8 muddled grapes
1 1/2 oz apple juice
1/2 oz honey
1/2 oz simple syrup
1/2 oz lemon juice
1/2 tea spoon Saigon cinnamon
1 scoop ice
In a 20oz Martini shaker, muddle the grapes, add all ingredients and shake well.
Double strain into a martini glass: using the bar strainer pour liquid through a tea strainer (there should be no grape pieces and minimal cinnamon residue in martini glass). Garnish with a thin apple wheel floating in the glass.
