Local resident, chief executive office of the and owner of in North Hollywood, announced Tuesday a merger with a management company that will allow him to be more involved in packaging and producing movie, TV and music projects.
“This gets me back to the areas that I love, and it’s a very exciting prospect,” Margolis told Patch.
The management firm of Van Johnson Company joined Margolis and the Knitting Factory Entertainment with a plan to expand Knitting Factory’s production and packaging of entertainment projects.
“We will offer film, television and theatrical management for actors, writers, directors producers as well as packaging entertainment,” said Margolis.
Margolis said he wants to create an all-encompassing entertainment cooperation. Van Johnson Co.’s roster includes Chris Vance (The Transporter), Gabriel Mann (Revenge), Chin Han (Restless and Contagion) and Anita Briem (Dylan Dog: Dead of Night).
The Knitting Factory Presents is a concert promoter with offices in Brooklyn, Boise, Spokane, Reno and Los Angeles.
