Welcome 2013: The New Years Eve Dining Guide for the 818
Instead of presenting diners with a prix-fixe menu this New Year’s Eve, The Six in Studio City will keep things casual by offering their standard menu during dinner, along with champagne to sweeten the deal. Reservations required.
Ring in the New Year at The Village is Studio City with an open bar, passed tapas, a spinning DJ, party pack (hats, blowers, confetti). It’s all happening 10 p.m.- 2 a.m. $130 per person. Contact villagewiseman@thevillagestudiocity.com for tickets.
Ombra in Studio City is keeping it simple this year with the regular menu, plus some very special dishes, including — meat tortellini in broth; cotechino; and panettone with zabaglione.
Bistro Garden in Studio City presents a gala dinner in two seatings with three-course meal. The late night seating includes dancing to a live DJ, party favors and a glass of champagne. $75 and $120 per person.
The Sportsmen’s Lodge in Studio City is going all out with a New Year’s Eve Bash that will turn the entire Events Center into a multi-venue club-type atmosphere with live music, DJ’s and an amazing light show. Three rooms will be packed full of entertainment and the night will be capped off with an amazing countdown to the New Year. Jazzy Boy Jeff Dance Band will be n the Empire Room with a 10-piece brass funk band; The Starlight Ballroom will have a dazzling light show and a DJ spinning favorite party hits; The Caribou Room will be transformed into an upscale dessert martini lounge with Barry Lamster playing jazz standards on a white Baby Grand Piano. Jazz and Dinner highlights New Years Eve at The Federal Bar in North Hollywood. Choose different prices package for dinner and drinks and dancing. There are two seatings for Dinner & Drinks and then a second package for drinks and dancing, including a champagne toast at midnight. First seating for Dinner & Drinks, 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Second seating for Dinner & Drinks, 9:30 p.m. – midnight. The upstairs club opens at 10 p.m. $65 per person for Dinner & Drinks; $95 per person for Drinks and Dancing; $25 for general admission to the upstairs club.
Firenze Osteria in North Hollywood is offering a five course set New Year’s Eve menu and complimentary champagne toast in addition to the regular menu.
The new Latin-inspired Taverna Bow & Truss in North Hollywood is celebrating its first New Year’s with a diverse dining experience for those counting down the New Year. Live music and/or DJ TBD. Two seatings: 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.(with a midnight celebration. Diner includes appetizer, soup, salad, main course and dessert. $65 per person.
Tula’s Restaurant at The Beverly Garland in Studio City has a steal of a meal for New Years with two seatings and three-course meals for $29 and $39 per person. Click here for reservations.
