Meet the Artistic Holiday Elves of the Valley [Video]

Jennifer Barlow and Ray Luckey paint Christmas-themed images on local storefronts.

There are many winter holiday traditions out there, but in the San Fernando Valley, it's not really Christmas without the window paintings of Holiday Windows L.A.

For the past decade, a small group of artists for hire have painted pictures of Santa Claus, Christmas trees, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and more on local storefronts.

On Sunday, owner Jennifer Barlow and painter Ray Luckey were using brush strokes to bring some Christmas spirit to Priscilla's Gourmet Coffee & Tea at the Burbank and Toluca Lake border.

Check out the accompanying video to see Barlow and Luckey in action over the weekend. To read more about Holiday Windows L.A. in an in-depth story from last year, click here.

Glad to see this Christmas tradition is not fading away like so many other Christmas traditions of years gone by. Ventura Blvd in Sherman Oaks and Studio City sure don't have their store windows painted like they use to a few years back. Christmas's LIGHT seems to be wading more and each year. What a terrible shame. :(

Thanks to Jennifer and Ray for keeping up the spirit of cute and funny Christmas window painting along the busy Valley streets. Thanks you! Keep up the spirit!
