People Pour Out in the Early Morning at Du-Par's

Watch the video as Du-par's owner Biff Naylor gets a bathing suit from a local businessman Jim Herrick and hear people reminisce about the longtime restaurant.

Herrick, who owns a swim school, quipped about how he came to Du-par's in the old days to sober up before he went home. 

All morning, a short stack of buttermilk pancakes were selling for 40 cents—the original cost when its doors opened in 1948.
