"Puss In Boots" is the top cat at the nation's box offices again this weekend, and has held off two debuting movies to stay the most-popular movie.
The 3-D cartoon from Paramount and DreamWorks is predicted to turn in $33 million in ticket sales this weekend, for a $75.5 million running total over two weeks of exhibition.
Two new movies opened in second and third place: "Tower Heist" with a projected $25 million, and "A Very Harold & Kumar 3-D Christmas" with a projected $13 million.
Rounding out the 10 most-popular films this weekend, as estimated by the studios and collated by Hollywood.com, are "Paranormal Activity" ($8.5 million), "In Time" ($7.7 million), "Footloose" ($4.6 million), "Real Steel" ($3.4 million), "The Rum Diary" ($3 million), "The Ides Of March" ($2 million), and "Moneyball" ($1.9 million).
