has been jetting in and out of El Lay, but while she's in town, she stocks up on "junk food" at (if there is and junk food there really). (See pictures here, and a few above in the Photo Gallery as she's rushing off in the airport.) Miley was buying some healthy chips, and then ran back up the hill to her new house. In another airport mad dash, with her boyfriend , and her parents, they were going to miss the flight. Photographers caught them at the LAX terminal and ran along with them, while papa went to the personnel and begged the airlines to keep the gate open for just a few more minutes. Miley, carrying her dog, and her mom Trish rushed through, but took time to stop to smile for cameras. They have to learn to get to the airport a bit sooner like the rest of us . . .
Eva Mendes, who lives locally, spent most of an afternoon heading to different clothing shops along Ventura Boulevard. She has a movie coming up with and called The Place Beyond the Pines, a gritty crime drama, but she's not speeding away in any Fast and Furious cars this time. Anyway, she looked stunning as always. . . .

Some great news for our own local celebrity friend Ed Begley Jr. who was just cast in The Beast which is an “about 80% true” soccer’s version of Hoosiers. The story is about Andy Thomas and a bunch of snowboarders, and Begley will play the lead character's father. James McAvoy of X-Men and Last King of Scotland fame, will play the lead . . .
COOLEST THING TO DO IN THE S.C.— met Gene "Cip" Cipriano at where young is bringing together both young and old cats for a cool night of jazz every Thursday night. Cip worked with Elvis, Frank Sinatra, Judy Garland and many others and helped record the soundtacks to West Side Story and Cleopatra, among others. It's truly a happening event!
