See photos in the gallery above.

Last night, LA’s glitterati came out in droves to the ’ “Year of the BLVD” event, hosted by Mario Lopez from NBC’s EXTRA.

The event celebratedl’s one-year anniversary of its Studio City hotel and spa, as well as the pre-grand opening of its new Hollywood location. With the NBA finally season over, LA Laker Matt Barnes stopped by to hang out and have fun along with hot girlfriend Gloria Govan who also took a quick breather with sister Laura Govan, from filming Season 2 of VH1’s “Basketball Wives LA.”

Other notable celebrities in attendance included actresses Essence Atkins, Zulay Henao, Denyce Lawton, David Alan Basche (TV Land’s “The Exes”), Alex Heartman (Power Rangers), TNT’s “Falling Skies” castmates Peter Shinkoda and Seychelle Gabriel, Maiara Walsh of ABC Family’s hit drama “Switched At Birth.”

The event featured cotton candy martinis and sweet treats made live by Cotton Candy Girls, on-site silk-screened gift bags by Ink + Cotton, filled with goodies like complimentary signature spa treatments and guestrooms from BLVD Hotel & Spa, designer neck ties from Inspired Knots, Icelandic Glacial water, White Rabbit gift certificates, ANGELENO magazines, Mystique nail designs, and beauty treatments from Heaven’s Make-up Bar, who’s glam squad was also on-site to touch up celebs’ faces during the party.

“Year of the BLVD” was definitely a celebratory bash to kick-off a promising year for the chic new hotel brand, who are expected to launch their BLVD Summer Event Series soon.

I wish the media had countered Garcetti's claims with an examination of the facts and had exposedRead More his relationship with BIG development. Only the LA Weekly covered these stories--keep reading it and keep posting.

Oh, it was under announcements and not opinion so that is why I did not understand the post whichRead More appeared as facts.

Presumptuous? What about my "endorsement" is presumptuous. You don't really need toRead More respond😃, I just didn't understand the comment.

I attended N.H.H.S. in the mid-seventies. Mr. Reeves and Mr. Moelter were two of my favorites.Read More Loved Mr. McLeroy for Sociology.

great article Mary! Ms. Korney, she sometimes scared me to death! But always around christmas IRead More think of her and pronounce my letters clearly at the end of a word when I sing. I can still remember the song I had to sing for my final, "If ever I would leave you..." She taught me a lot. I agree with everything you said about Mr. Reeves. I had Mr. Pesin for Algebra, he did nothing to help further my math skills. The biggest flirt around, ick. We had a girl in school at the time that flirted her way to an A and hardly ever went to class. Go figure!! I also thought quite highly of Ms. Requiam. Glad she's still around.
