Mistral

With its dark wood. dimmed lights, crisp white cloth tables and chandeliers, Mistral is sophisticated and romantic. Ombra

Chef Michael Young is offering his regular menu in addition to special Valentine's Day dishes including Risotto with Rose Petals $17, Venison Loin with Chocolate Demi-Glace $36 and White Chocolate Bavarese with Raspberries $7. Pinot Bistro

This Studio City mainstay is offering their Valentine’s Day celebration from February 11 to 14 with a choice of of three courses for $65 or four for $75.  Choices include: Mussels"Basque", Pan-roasted Salmon, Wild Mushroom Risotto and Filet Mignon. Valley Inn

Owners Sophia and Boris are offering a variety of options for Valentines Day at this old school mainstay. From February 10-14, there's a three course early bird (5 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.) for $32.95 person, including a glass of champagne or muscato.  The Valentines Day menu runs 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Entrees run $13.95 to $39.95 for the Ribeye Steak. WEST VALLEY

Inn of the Seventh Ray

Set among the trees and next to a creek in Topanga Canyon, this is one of the most romantic spots in Los Angeles.The five course menu, plus an amuse bouche, is $100; vegetarian route $90.There is a wine flight with 3 oz pours paired for each course at $45 per person. Lady Face Ale

Go casual at this French/Belgium gastropub with its own microbrewery in Agoura that will feature a special entree and appetizer along with the regular menu, plus a Chocolate-Covered Cherry Martini and Chocolate Ale Truffles. Le Sanglier

This elegant and classic 40 year old French restaurant is offering a three course meal that includes foie gras,  escargot, lobster,  rack of lamb, veal and venison. Choose between six appetizers, six entrees and six desserts. Padri Restaurant and Martini Bar

What says romance more than a sophisticated martini at the only martini bar in the 818? Come for a drink or dinner in this restaurant built like a rustic farmhouse. Saddle Peak Lodge

Rustic, yet sophisticated and elegant, this long standing restaurant hideaway off Las Virgenes Canyon is a real special occasion destination. This special four course menu runs all weekend and includes. such choices as Rabbit roulade, Butter Poached Lobster, Grilled New Zealand Elk Tenderloin and Mesquite Grilled Waygu Rib Eye. $125 per person. Villa Piacere

This French Country style restaurant has one one of the most beautiful patios.  This Valentine’s Day, they are offering a three course prix fixe with the price based upon the entree. Choices include Burgundy Braised Short Rib, Prime New York Steak, Rosemary Marinated Yellowfin Tuna.. Price per person is $47-$59. 22160 Ventura Boulevard, Woodland Hills, (818) 704-1185.

Sunset Room

This Agoura Hills supper club is featuring a three course menu for $65 per person with choices that include chopped lobster, scallops, hangar steak and upside mango cake.  An added plus starting at 8 p.m. Brian McKnight’s band, Prescott Ellsion, which will deliver some cool jazz. 29020 Agoura Rd., Agoura Hills, (818) 991-4007.

Dear tbs, Deon Coles black box is the worst tv show ever. Though it is hosted by a black man, it'sRead More a show based on pointing fun and rude Racist jokes directed toward black people. If there was a white host it would be considered racist but because a black man was appointed to be host , you might have figured we wouldn't be offended but we are and I can't speak for all but I feel like resist jokes aren't ok regardless of who is telling them and I would like tbs to take down this show or atleast change the points in the show ! -signed, Kalil Stimpson
