The birds have returned.
Well, Stephanie Levy of , said she thinks this is the dove that have nurtured their eggs after their nest was blown down in strong winds two months ago.
Levy put up a box and they created a nest just above the back door of the Sub shop, and most of the time customers are unaware of the quaint little family that is in the box above them.
"After the babies flew away, I didn't see them for a few weeks, but now they are back," Levy said. "They plopped right back in the box and are very comfortable there."
Maybe like the swallows at the mission in Capistrano, the birds know this is a safe haven for them.
