Toast from the BLVD Offers Wine Tasting Thursday Night

The BLVD Hotel and Spa in Studio City is holding a special charity event open to all with a chance to sample some great holiday recipes and premium wines.

The “Toast from the BLVD” wine and food lovers’ event this Thursday, Nov. 15 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and hosted by Meagan Tandy, star of ABC Family’s Jane By Design.

The event will and feature cooking demonstrations of wonderful, delicious and healthy holiday meals courtesy of Trader Joe’s Chef Parker. Additionally, event guests will have the opportunity to sample wines from multiple premier wineries, as well as participate in the wine-challenge to determine which of the featured wines will become the BLVD Hotel’s “Official Red / White Wine” and presented with a co-branded custom label.

Furthermore, luxury gift baskets, BLVD Hotel stays / spa services and other wonderful items will be given away as prizes to winners of the raffle.

Guests can purchase tickets on-site for $20 with 100 percent of the proceeds benefiting the My Friend’s House Foundation, a non-profit organization providing life-sustaining staples that include food, clothing, toiletries and spiritual motivation to the economically disadvantaged and to provide a short-term transition shelter for homeless women.
