I wrote in January about the expected birth of a brand new bistro for Studio City. y is finally here. It is beautiful, elegant, light, bright, and delicious. Charlie's took a little time to open, but it was well worth the wait.
Charlie's is located in the California Pavilion center at 12265 Ventura Blvd., and is located below California Pizza Kitchen.
I interviewd co-owner and namesake Charlie Pearson (formally of Dusty's in Silverlake) and her "Master Chief" mother-in-law, Maria.

There is free underground validated parking at this small shopping center at Ventura Boulevard and Laurelgrove Avenue. It is right next to the walking bridge short-cut that crosses over the Los Angeles River.

There is also a beauty salon, a nail boutique and skin care, fitness and laser hair removal businesses; a theater, acting classes, a frame store, Victors Master Jewelers, Asthetic Foot Surgery and maybe more, soon.
