Watch Out for Cupids Handing out Roses in Studio City on Valentine's Day

The Helpful Guy in Blue may be out to make your day.

Don't be surprised if a stranger gives you a rose on Valentine's Day somewhere in Studio City between 9:30 and 11 in the morning.

The Helpful Guys in Blue will be playing cupid in Studio City by popping up in various locations with complimentary roses. They will be visiting gas stations and office buildings armed with hundreds of wrapped red roses to say happy Valentine's Day and perhaps help those who forgot.

In the spirit of love and giving this Valentine's Day, the SoCal Honda Helpful teams will be spreading cheer and helping those who might be a bit forgetful when it comes to the Holiday of Love. The roses can also be given to a special someone, as long as you don’t forget to take the tag off!

According to the company, providing complimentary red roses for givers as well as receivers on Valentine's Day is just another way SoCal Honda Dealers are demonstrating their commitment to being Helpful in surprising and pleasant ways for the sixth consecutive year.

In 2011, Honda Helpful distributed more than 10,000 bottles of water, handed out 4,500 reusable bottles during Earth Month, kept hands clean with 5,000 packets of handiwipes and lips soft with thousands of sticks of lip balm, and gave out 3,000 Helpful blue snuggies to keep residents warm.  The Guys in Blue also surprised hundreds of drivers in over 35 cities across SoCal with Free Tanks of Gas over the holidays and hosted holiday meals with gift giving for SoCal homeless shelters.
